Nice historical site. There is also a one room school house. It is full of information. The staff are enthusiastic and know their local history.

Lots of Interesting little know history. The picture attached is a hand chiseled grave marker found on the bottom of Lake Traverse when it dried during the 1930's. Browns Valley is also where the "Browns Valley Man" was discovered. At the time this was an archeology discovery of world wide significance.

A small, well maintained historic site, with a few original buildings. We visited prior to Memorial Day so the buildings were not open to tour and no staff was available. There are a few informative plaques to read.

Good information on local area.
